The first exhibition of Lawal Quilcas takes place in Buenos Aires on the gates of the French Embassy. This exhibition presented along two streets bordering the embassy, shows a photographic series in each of the two streets.
In Arroyo street, a series composed of diptychs of images of landscapes, objects, putting in comparison scientific objects allowing the capture and the analysis of data of the close or distant environment of the millennial trees and the biotope landscapes or close to these trees.
In Cerrito Street, a photographic series composed of portraits and objects or landscapes in diptychs (in one image) of the protagonists of the work who have in one way or another participated in the project in Argentina. Each close-up is associated with a place or object that is particularly important in the history of the person represented.
