in September 2006, Laurent Mulot had inaugurated the third Ghost Contemporary Art Center of Middle of Nowhere here in Rochefourchat France, succeeding Cook in Australia and Zhu Hai Zhen in China. Last July, the fourth center was inaugurated in Brazil, thus bringing a new continent into the work.
In Rochefourchat this year, for the 2007 Heritage Days, Laurent Mulot offers us a free itinerary of "Portraits-Graphies" conceived in the middle of nature with as a starting point the chapel of Rochefourchat. Real mise en abyme of the landscape, these open-air installations lead us to follow, at the same time, imagined stories of the territory and effigies of the witnesses of this village today deserted of permanent inhabitants.
