Middle of Nowhere

In 2007, for Veduta // Lyon International Contemporary Art Biennale, Middle of Nowhere invites passers-by to "complete" an installation and a visual and sound device. On this square of Terreaux Aberration Middle of Nowhere 1,2,3,4 is constituted of 4 stations of observation. On each of these stations 3 points of listening and viewing are arranged, allowing the participants to see through stereoscopic viewers images of four of the Ghost Contemporary Art Centers of Middle of Nowhere with the illusion of the 3 dimensions and to hear a musical sequence relative to the respective places. Through this device the place des Terreaux became an observatory of the four corners of the world.
