Escape attempt

In 2006 and 2007 Middle of Nowhere entered a prison residency.
The meeting with the prisoners is made on their interpretation of the notion of Middle of Nowhere. The question is simple:

Do you feel like you're here in the middle of nowhere? The answer is unanimous and unequivocal, this expression completely resonates with their apprehension of the place. We decided to create a slide show together with images from the photographic series of the Ghost Contemporary Art Centers and their own photographic portraits. During a weekly workshop they will each make a series of photomontages with sound to create a short video. This video will be shown inside the prison for all the inmates, and then during a unique screening at the LUX, scène nationale image de Valence.
